Transmission Service Offerings for the

Phase I/II HVDC-TF Intertie with Hydro-Québec

The list of all Interconnection Rights Holders (IRH), including those that are Schedule 20A Service Providers, and their respective Phase I and Phase II Percentage Interest and Combined Percentage Interest MW share of the 2,000 MW Nominal Transfer Capability of the Phase II tie is provided in the table below. The table is presented in three (3) sections: (A) the IRH that are Schedule 20A Service Providers offering service over the Phase I/II HVDC-TF pursuant to Schedule 20A to Section II of the ISO Tariff; (B) the IRH offering their share of the Phase I/II HVDC-TF through a Schedule 20A Service Provider listed in section (A); and (C) the IRH who are not currently offering their share of the Phase I/II HVDC-TF. Clicking on the highlighted Schedule 20A Service Provider will bring you directly to their Transmission Provider Page on the ISO OASIS where an eligible customer can query and obtain Phase I/II HVDC-TF transmission services.

A customer wishing to move energy into or out of the New England Control Area over the Phase I/II HVDC-TF must acquire an advance reservation for transmission service over the facility by contacting a Schedule 20A Service Provider that is identified in section (A) of the table below, and include the OASIS reservation information in the submittal of Phase I/II HVDC-TF External Transaction to the ISO market system.

(original Percentage Interest: Phase I = 0.11672%; Phase II = 0%).

Calculation of MW Share of the 2,000 MW Phase I/II HVDC-TF:

The values in the table above represent the current respective Percentage Interests in Phase I and Phase II of each IRH. These values are reflective of the respective share of the costs of the Phase I and Phase II facilities that these IRH support, directly or indirectly, under the Phase I and Phase II Support Agreements. The Combined Percentage Interest is derived in accordance with the following formula: {[(Phase I Percentage Interest x 690) + (Phase II Percentage Interest x 1,310)] / 2,000}. The calculation of each IRH’s “Share of Tie” is based on their respective Combined Percentage Interest multiplied by the Phase II Nominal Transfer Capability of 2,000 MW, rounded down to whole MW. [Note: If one were to sum the Percentage Interest values for all IRH listed in the table above, the totals would be greater than 100% because the Share of the Tie for IRH listed in section (B) of the table is also reflected in the Share of the Tie for the Schedule 20A Service Provider that offers service on behalf of the IRH listed in section (B) of the table. For this reason, the IRH listed in section (B) of the table are excluded from the grand total above to avoid double-counting.]
